It's a Traveling Road Show!

Well, the race season is over and it ended here at Homestead - Miami Speedway. I wanted to go and begged my Dad if we can go but he said "No, I won't enjoy it." So, I ended up watching the race weekend on TV. Thank God I didn't go because the race was boring! Bobby Labonte won the final Winston Cup race and Matt Kenseth won the Cup trophy. Jr and the Bud team finished 3rd in the standings. I wished he would get 2nd but his car was shit...Then again Goodyear brought a new tire and just about the whole field had tire issues.

Since I couldn't go to Homestead, I went to Ford Fan Fest 2003 at Las Olas Riverfront Thursday. I had a BLAST! I took photos of Dale Jarett's 88 car, Matt's 17 car and "The Intimidator" Dale Earnhardt's car. I also took some driver pics of Ricky Rudd, Dale Jarett and Kurt Bush. I didn't get autographs because the lines were soooo long and i'll be there for a good 2 -3 hours just for 1 autograph. But, Dad, Mom and myself got to see some race cars and was just estatic.

Saturday, I went to Wal- Mart to do some weekly shopping and guess what I saw? Kurt Bush's car...again. It was the same one, same people, same hauler hauling it around. I like to know who else's cars were scattered in South FL? I wished they had a Chevy fan fest cause i'll love to see a lot of my favorite cars I see on the track esp. Dale Jr. He actually made an appearance to the Ford Fest....in a cardboard cut-out.

What am I going to do until Feb. 2004? I need a racing fix. I could of stole Jr. but he's long gone from FL. Well, I think i'll take the advice from my Dad...GO OUT!
