Finally, I got my car in my possession!! I stopped over at the car dealer to see how is was doing from day 1. Well, the doors were open and I decided to take a peak...wow! It was clean! It has a bad smell because of the cleaning stuff they used but it's clean!! The car looked ready so I asked Mom should I go inside and ask them if it is ready. She said no and that they'll call you.
Rule #1 Don't listen to Mom.
When we got home, there were 2 messages on the phone. 1 from Dad's cell and 2 from Dad's work. I called both and ended up getting dad at work. He said the car is ready to pick up. I was there 2 min. ago!!! Dad says they have left messages. Um...no one called and I was home the whole time! I wonder what number they have on file cause it sure wasn't mine.
Dad calls up again around 4:30ish telling me to call the salesman and tell him we'll be there to pick up the car. I called him up and he didn't recognize my name nor my dad's but it did take him awhile to know who was calling him. I asked him what number he had on file since I didn't receive any calls and his reply was 'I'm not at my desk to check'. Whatever, someone got the message that the car is ready and I'm picking it up. I waited 2 days for that thing and I'm getting it!
You know how dealerships are cheap? Well, they didn't add any gas to my car. The freakin' light to the gas tank was on! They said they only add $10 bucks worth of gas and they'll reimburse you when you have the receipt. [Side note: I never pumped gas before] We went to chevron to put gas [$2.03 for regular]. It's easy to pump gas. It'll take awhile to get used to it but I'll be fine.
Tomorrow, I'll clean that damn car. It's dusty and dirty. Plus I need to remove that cleaning smell...ew.
