It's Father's Day today and a great gift for my Dad was a t-shirt. Instead, he got me a car. No lie. He bought me a 1998 Olds Cutlass GLS. [the loaded version] It has leather, CD/Cassette [who uses cassette anyway?] and that's all I can think of. But the inside of it...OH MY GOD! It was so filthy and dirty, I told the salesman to have the car in show room condition. There was stains in the rug and rips, dirt all over the steering wheel and just overall dirty! It's currently being detailed in and out and I hope it looks good before I blow my roof. But, Dad only paid $6k for the car so it isn't bad.

But I can say that I broke the Ford string!! The last couple of cars we own are Fords [Dad with the Crown Vic, Mom with the Taurus, Lou with the Taurus and Lisa with the Taurus]. The last GM car we owned was a 1988 Olds Cutlass. I brought the Cutlass back in the family! Now, I need to add the 8 sticker on the back window, a license plate cover and darker window tint [the one currently is to light of a tint]. Now, I have to get insurance on the car tomorrow and filling out more applications for jobs. The president says we have new jobs growing everyday but for some reason, South FL isn't one of them...I guess he's talking about ghost towns building up...
