June 8, 2004 [No relation to Jr.'s car number]
Yes! I finally got my damn toilet paper and free!! I wore a mustard gold color gown *shutters* but it didn't look that bad in pictures so that's the only thing that matters. What I wore underneath that freakin' heater [I was roasting in it the whole time.] was a pink cashmere shirt, black skirt, nude fishnets and black, pointy shoes. Very nice :)
Before the whole ceremoney, I decited to straighted my hair [natural curls] and it became a poof flat thing. A couple of hours later, the curl decited to come out and it got wavy *grrr* and I was having a massive stress attack while my Aunt was in the house. Mom was getting bitchy because I was stressing out. Hair still look like shit on the day of graduation!...
The camera decited to take a shit and the zoom wouldn't work. On our way to BCC, we stopped at Walgreens to buy some camera batteries costing $16 bucks for 2. We're rushing to get over there because I was already late. 'Bout time we got there, Dad decited to drop us off cause parking was full already. I ran to the other side of the building with heels into the girls bathroom which looked like my old schools bathroom [before the new one was built] to put on the cap and gown. Mind you, it's freaking hot in and outside. I was later stuffed in a room with mirrors with 176 other kids waiting until we walk to our assigned area in front of the stage. There was so much confusion to where we supposed to line up but we all made it.
Now the wait to walk to our seats...
Made it to the seat...now standing for 20 min...
While im standing, everyone is turning around to find out where their parents are located. I'm looking, looking and looking and then I find them! They're waving like crazy and i'm waving like crazy and then I started to cry. I told myself I wouldn't cry and i'm tearing up...
Waiting to call my name. That's what happends when you're a 'S'...
Waiting...
...
...
Yay! the row infront of me is moving!....
Now we go to the back of the stage. It's looks like we're going to be in a play, the guy who does the lighting is reading a newspaper and i'm in line waiting to walk across the stage without tripping.
Phew! Didn't trip, walked nicely, [I think it was fast..dunno] shook my princepal's hand, smile for the camera, walk down, take another picture, walk to my seat and sit.
Yap, Yap, Yap...
We flipped the tassel to the right, threw the hat..
and done.
I'm waiting for everyone to come down so I can greet 'em. Kimmie is the first one who's running down with a silver bag. How's she holding it, the box said NASCAR so I knew it had to do with Dale Jr. We all go outside, take pictures and head home. We had to drop Aunt Antonette home and questioning what else we should do. After much deciting, we [Mom, Dad and yours truly] went to Denny's for some grub. I put my cap on and the necklace and walked in. It was so packed at 9:30pm at night. The first thing I ordered was a BIG sprite cause I was so thrsty [went through 3 glasses]. I ordered bufflo chicken strips [no Jessica Simpson comment]. Damn, it was spicy. For $20 bucks, we had a post-graduation dinner/snack.
Headed home and the end of the day.
Do you think this entry will be published as a novel? Geez...
