Louis and I woke up at 10am when housekeeping knocked on our door. We checked out around 10:30am and headed south for home. We went on the turnpike south and it was sailing from there. We hit some clouds of rain but nothing major. We were at the Glades Road exit and we were slow for traffic. There was a rollover on the north bound lane that involved only one car [a blue Explorer] but traffic on the northbound lane was bumper to bumper. They were only allowing 10 cars a time to pass by. Oops, sorry for them. We went straight over to Lisa and Joey's house for a 4th of July party plus fireworks they got in NC during their road trip to Cedar Point, Ohio.
We shot up some fireworks and they were awesome. No cops came over and say "what are you guy's doing?" We're say "nothin". [It sounds like the Gillette Young Guns commercial where all they guys are "tweaking" Jr's car] No one's arm blew off so that was good.
After the show, everyone was asking me if I wanted to play this gambling game. I forgot what it's called but you put up $3 and you roll 3 dices. If you land a 1,2 and/or 3 you're safe. If you land a 4 you pass to the left, 5 to the right and 6 to the pot. 1st round was pot, 2nd round Joey won, 3rd pot and 4th I won!!!! I got $33 bucks from the pot. I have insurance money now! My mom was nagging me to go home but everyone was like "we're not done playing yet." Thanks for the cover, guys.
When I got home, it felt so good. I was aching all over from all the walking I did in Daytona and I needed a rest. I unpacked, talked to dad about the race and the stuff I bought. I hit the sack a 2am and it was sleepy time with Pooh bear.
