The news declared a Hurricane warning around 11am this morning. I got up at 8:30am to go out and get some water. No one has water. We went back to BJ's and they had no water whatsoever. I was just pissed. The gas lines to fuel the car? Oh my god they were on line in the streets for gas. Some of the gas stations have no more gas left or just saving. We went to Publix to see if they had water and nothing. We did pick up a few items. Publix had more stuff on the shelves than Wal-Mart did. It's just absolutely crazy. Now I'm kinda scared for what will happened. Everyone around me boarded up. I was telling Mom that the association will be pissed because everyone is drilling holes in the buildings. We just painted the buildings where there were already drill holes from people. Oops guess it will get nasty next week.

Hurricane shutters are the bitch to put up. I got so fustraded putting those things up where to the point I gave up. Dad came home around noon time and helped me do the rest. I'm thinking of getting the ones where you fold and lock them. Just insane.

I've been meeting some news friends on a NASCAR message board. I posted for a prayer request because of everything and they have been thinking of me. I went into the chatroom and they were talking about category 4 hurricanes. It's totally cool that they are thinking of me. Angel, Gail, JJ and the rest are very thoughtful. I'll keep them posted when I can.
