Yeah there's another one here in FL. I woke up around 9am and found Dad putting up the shutters on the windows. It's supposed to hit around midnight between West Palm and Vero Beach. Today, it was just mostly clouds, rain and hardly any winds. Just a typical t-storm in the afternoon. The beaches are calm until 4pm where Deerfield Beach had some waves but nothing spectacular. As I'm writing, the lights are flickering. Pray the electric doesn't go out.

Well, the babysitting job wasn't so bad. Patrick [the kids father] came home at 3:03am and I was getting restless. They had digital cable so I was contented. I read some of my book as well. Since I haven't started reading it [it's the hurricane book when electric goes out] and the first chapter was just the planes going into the towers and such. The FAA needs to be trained a little more better than what I was reading. They all thought it was a test or something.

Patrick is a strong republican and we were getting political at 3 in the morning. He was telling me how President Bush is great and all and Sen. Kerry just blows. Hmmm...the debate is coming up this weekend. He said we'll have to watch it and see what happens.

The Busch race was awesome. Martin won the race!! I was so happy he won. Kenny Wallace ran out of gas while leading and Martin just happened to be behind him. He was driving very aggressively and wondered why. When the cameras panned out, the 5 car [Kyle Busch...punk] was going to get lapped by Martin. Sadly, the race finished before he got lapped. He has a good lead over Kyle Busch for the championship. Go Martin!!
