I talked to Louis at the Pier and he wasn't so thrilled on the Homestead idea. But he said we're going to see Metallica next weekend. He still didn't get the tickets but will get them this week. I told him that seats are almost sold out. He's coming over with his girlfriend, Irene and her son tomorrow for dinner. Cool, we're watch the race since the Dolphins game is on Monday night.
I was depressed again when I went to the Pier. I have no idea why but everyone was feeling it. I went home and felt better.

In other racing news...
That Busch race was something. I didn't tape it because I thought it will be just the same. WRONG! Martin cut a tire, went a lap down, got it back, Matt Kenseth wins the race, Kyle was "crying" because he finished second, [according to the Pit Board]and after all the other crap no one highlighed, Martin finishes nineth and still points leader. I should of taped it but I guess I will watch the repeat on Tuesday.
Martin did make the cup race and will start 33rd.
And if that news isn't great,
check this out. Bass Pro Shops will be the primary sponsor for Martin next year in Busch, a handful of Cup starts, and primary sponsor of the #1 DEI car in 2006 when Martin drives it. Hell yeah!
This had to be the funniest article to date. If only that was true.
Read and enjoy!
