I sure hell feel like I'm reporting like a newspaper. A lot of cool stuff happened today so here we go from morning to end!
I went back to Pubix today about the cashiering position and they hired me on the spot. I took the drug test where you have to put a cotton swab in your mouth and keep it in there for five minutes. Yep, there was a salty after taste. They will call me early in the week [prolly Monday] to see if I passed. [yes, you did] They want me to do next Saturday's training class at the Publix warehouse in Deerfield Beach. That means I'm tapping the Busch race from there. The race I wanted to go.
After coming home, I waited for the Busch race to come on. The key part about this race today was
tires! I swear everyone was wicked loose when tires worn out. Key moment of the race was when Shrub hit the wall for the second time. He was on older tires when everyone else pitted and just got ran over. After being WAY too loose, he spins and the back end goes into the wall. I jumped off my bed yelling and screaming cause I know Martin got the championship from there! I was just so proud of him, Junior and everyone else at Chance 2. Junior is now a car owner champion! Y'all need to check this kid out in 2006 when he's in cup driving the #1 Bass Pro Shops Chevy for DEI. 2006 Rookie of the Year!
I went over to Lisa's to pick up Kimmie and Kev so they can chill for the night. I picked up Kimmie's old computer to see if I can fix that thing. I'm going to say that Uncle D is probably doing something or telling us something. Don't know but sounds scary. I'll keep you updated on the computer saga.
When I came home from Publix, Mom was getting on my nerves and it sure affected the rest of the day. Kevin decides to play around and I wasn't going for it. After dinner, he walks out of the house and I don't pay any mind to it because he's just going to wonder. Well, Mom gets all bitchy and I just didn't want to hear her so Kimmie and I go outside and look for him. We're calling out his name and we don't get a response. We hear this "mmmm" noise coming from the dumpster and he's hiding on the side of the dumpster! I was so pissed off, I told him in the house that he wasn't going to the movies with us because of his behavior. I'm not going to put up with that while at the movies so he stayed home with Mom and Dad.
We were running a bit late when Kimmie discovers that she forgot to pack underwear and toothbrush. So we head out to Target and pick some up. After 10 min. in the store running around, I told her we won't make it to see
Seed of Chucky so we decided to go and see
The Polar Express with Tom Hanks. We make it to the 7:25pm airing and watch the movie.
The movie was really great if you are a kid but OK if you are a grown-up. The designs of the characters were a bit weird but overall OK just to watch. The story line was very good for a children's movie. Great holiday flick. Can't wait for next week's
Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie and
Racing Stripes in the future.
Leaving Movico was very interesting. There was this Benz trying to back up but there was this white parked car behind them and hit it. It was amusing to see them backing the car up so they can leave LOL.
I'm so tired. Going to finish hitting up the web and go to bed. Woke up at 8 AM
