By far the best concert I've been to!

We arrived at Office Depot center around 6:30pm, chilled outside with some crazy peeps and talked to some kids who parked next to us. They are from South America. He was 20 [who looks 13 HAHA] and his little brother [I guess] is 13. We went into the line and checked for any weapons of mass destruction. I waited in line for a $30 t-shirt for over 30 minutes. At 7:30pm on the dot, Godsmack was onstage. So pissed.

Anyway, Louis comes back from smoking and he stands next to the table [I was in front] and the guy goes and asks him what he wants. I was like "what the hell?!" Anyway, we get two tour shirts with skulls for a whopping total of $60. We head upstairs, get some food while Godsmack was playing and then went to a random seat in our section. No one was up where we were so you can sit anywhere you wanted to. I told Louis that Joey needs to invest in a mechanical circle to set his drums on. Awesome drum duo! After watching half of the set of Godsmack, we go outside and chill until 8:50pm because that was when the beer cannot be sold. Louis was spared two minutes LOL.

Now the show...
It was a center square stage and the set up spins around. [Lars' drums did a 360 when the show ended] They started out the show with "Blackened" and finished it off with the classic "Kill 'em All". Best set ever: "One". Oh. My. God. those pyro blowing off one by one. I had to close my ears because it was so loud. Oh and I should of bought in marshmallows. Those flames could of roasted them from where I was.
They started at 9:20 is and finished around 11:30pm. So many encores too. Loved that. Had to say, that had to be the best $56.50 Louis spent on tickets. This concert topped all of the ones I've been to. I don't think this ranks in the same category!
James, Kirk, Lars, and Rob did one helluva job playing! I can now say I've been to a Metallica show. So excited!
