OH MY GOD! Martin is in the 500!!! I just finished watching the second race and I swear I couldn't breathe for the last 10 laps. He was up in the top five and then shoved in the back and back to the front for a fourth place finish and a spot in the 500! I cannot explain how excited I am for this boy. I'm just so damn happy! And to top it off, the first race was awesome! one, two DEI finish - Mickey and Junior. All the critics and the media saying "They're struggling", "Where's the horsepower?" and all that stuff, they better start writing something on how DEI is still #1 at the plate tracks.
If that second race wasn't exciting, there was one HUGE wreck on the backstretch. Harvick was bumping Jimmie Johnson in the middle of the corner and just took the whole field with them...Literally. My heart just breaks for Mark Martin. When they interviewed him, they asked him if the backup car can win from the back, and his reply was "Absolutely not." Jimmie was a little emotional when they talked to him and he said that Childress should fire him and stuff. The season didn't officially start and there's drama already. On the next episode on NASCAR...

After reading thru the message boards, Jimmie and co. of the wrecked had to visit the "Phone Booth" [or whatever they call the big red truck] and NASCAR is thinking of parking them. I like the idea of putting them in Junior's boxing ring HAHA
