It started at 2pm on Speed channel and will go on thru the rest of the night and the weekend. It felt so good to see some racing and my adrenaline is now flowing. They showed the new infield at Daytona and it looks sweet. You can be up close to everything and see it live in front of your face. That would be cool to see when we go back in July. Victory Lane is now in front of the Weatherly section [where I sat last year] in front of this huge ass building. I'm getting the same section so I can see it!

One of the issues during the Bud Shootout practice was tire wear. Junior's right rear tire was torn to the point where the threads were showing. He said if he didn't come in sooner, it would of been another half of a lap before disaster. And during the second practice, Jeremy Mayfield's right rear was the same way and Joe Nemicheck's was somewhat OK but was very blistered. So, I dunno what will happened come tomorrow night.

Also, we had some wrecking going on! Casey Mears thought he cleared Ricky Rudd and clipped him and Casey spun out. When Casey went to Ricky's garage area, Fatback went in Casey's face and said something like 'Casey, I'm tired of the shit you did last year...' [the power of a DVR haha] but I jumped up watching that. Already we have fights and it's not even the 500 yet. Woohoo!

Junior likes to scare people. He goes on the radio saying the engine has no power. He looks at the gauges and the oil pressure was at zero. He comes in the garages and he says he was out of gas! Oh man...

And if that wasn't enough, my two lovely boys will be on QVC tonight. Sigh.
