Congrats to Tony and Martin as two time NEXTEL Cup and Busch series champion!

I didn't watch the Cup race yet but last night's Busch race gave me a heart attack. It started during qualifying when Martin wrecked before he got the flag. They took out the backup car [Phenoix car] in record time to fix it up. After than incident, I said to myself 'OK, Newman you have to win this race!' cause I really didn't want Clint Boywer to win. Martin started in the back and worked his way up very fast. His car was strong as hell and was as high as top 5 but after a quick pit stop, his right front tire was loose and had to come in the pits. He became a lap down. After another wreck, Martin was up front of the leaders to get his lap back. Another incident and got it back. After all said and done, Martin won the championship and finshed in the top 10. Ryan did win, by the way.



Somehow, last year's win was helluva alot sweeter. I guess because it was in his first year driving for Chance 2 and was the underdog of them all. Next year will be sweet. Class of '07 is a good size bunch. 07 Rookie of the year!

Later on for the cup race. I gotta see it.
