Oh let me explain to you the shit I went thru with them just for high speed internet.
First, I went to Circuit City to buy the modem and the self install kit. I came home and called Comcast to add on the internet to my account. The first woman said that everything should been activated thru Circuit City and you need to discuss it with them. OK, so I call them up again and was explained that when I install the software, it will be activated by then. So, I go and start hooking up everything. 45 min. later and Dad's help, it was all hooked up. So, now I install everything. I get an error message and said to call Comcast. Back on the phone, they sort out the billing stuff but had trouble activating the modem. I get bounced back and forth like a tennis ball and on hold forever. I even cussed out a couple of CSR's cause they were no help whatsoever. Around 8pm, I get a guy who was super nice and set everything up for me on his end and the modem. After a quick restart, I'm online! Thank you baby Jesus! NOT yet there's more.
I'm fiddling around with everything online and saw that I get NASCAR Trackpass for FREE! I'm shouting cause of the awesome news [and the fact that I can listen in since I'm off on Sunday's] and the computer shuts down. NOT again is the first thing that comes to mind. I'm waiting for two hours and then I take it apart. I blow it out with canned air and smell something odd. After on the phone with Geek Squad, the smell went away and I hooked everything back up again. As you see, I'm back and running. So I *think* the fan that cool's the motherboard works when it wants to [there's two fans, one on the back and one on the motherboard] so that might need to be replaced with a couple of screws but I'll ask further at Best Buy.
