Week 2 of testing, RIP BP

The click of today's e-mail was the shocking one.
Benny Parsons died early this morning due to complecations. He was 65 years old. God Speed, Benny.

Talk about not having a good start to the 2007 with Bobby Hamiliton and BP passing.

On to the racing...

It was reported on Speed channel but many DEI engineers left for Team Red Bull and Mickey's new Toyota team. Does this add more fire to the flame at DEI?

Today's morning speeds were led by Juan Pablo Montoya then David Stremme, Gilliand, Gordo and Kenseth. PM speeds were Newman, Ragan, Kurt Busch, Gordo and Kenseth.

Vickers tested for Allmendinger today to help find more speed from the Camery. Vickers will drive the car tomorrow when AJ is going to be in homestead testing a truck. Looks like AJ won't make the 500 since his lack of testing and expeirence at Daytona...

Junior in a Toyota? A nice "What if?" compared to DJ's switch from Ford to Toyota.
