How in the hell do I explain this?!...
Tony was driving a bit hard today and was racing Juan Pablo hard when Juan bumped Tony, spins and saves it with tire smoke in the air. Junior slows down cause he was in the front of the spin and Shrub is blind as a bat and doesn't see the spin, runs in the back of Junior 30+ mph faster than Junior, jacks Junior's rear end up about 10 ft and wrecks them both. Shrub has major front end damage and Junior with the bumper flapping. Junior got back out there but later didn't because the engine poofed [from the spin with Shrub]. Shrub being the baby that he is, left the track and the 5 team fix the car with the driver being MIA. Rick Hendrick asked Junior if he wanted to drive the car. He said YES. Junior #8 finished 36th. Junior #5 finished 37th.
The Junior nation is speechless but they know this. Junior is a clas act no matter what the situation is. Shrub is one big baby that left his team hanging without a driver. The situation went old school: a driver doesn't have a car, driver needs a car to drive, finds the vacant 5, and drives it for a pay check.
Jeff Burton won the race, Mark Martin 3rd [who should come out of retirement the rate he's going] Martin finished 7th and Kasey???
